Who am I?

About Amalia

What was your experience of Further/Higher education like?Ìý

I really enjoyed my time in higher education.ÌýI studied at five universities across three countries and loved interacting with different educational systems,ÌýculturesÌýand languages. I made friendsÌýfor life,Ìýfrom all over the world,ÌýandÌýlearned and experienced things I would never have imagined I could until I started university.ÌýÌý

What do you like most about your work as a Student Adviser?

I find interacting with students on a daily basis very inspiring as I get to meet not only brilliant minds but also kind souls. In a fast-paced environment like the one at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, no day is the same and being able to help and hopefully make a positive difference in students’ lives is something to look forward to every week.

What's a surprising or interesting fact about yourself?Ìý

As a teenager, I used to ride motorcycles competitively. I wasÌýevenÌýa junior national championÌýin my country!ÌýStrangely enough, I don’t currently have a driving licence, but am still a big fan of the sport.Ìý
