About Nosheen

What was your experience of Further/Higher education like?

I studied Journalism and really enjoyed all the practical elements of the degree. I made some great friends at university. However, I found overcoming certain challenges difficult at university. I was the first in my family to go to university and found the experience overwhelming at times. I wish I had known about support services available to me, it would’ve made a big difference.

What do you like most about your work as a Student Adviser?

The thing I love the most about being a student adviser is talking to students and being part of their Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê experience. The highs and the lows. I'm really glad I can offer student the time to talk through things and signpost services that will support them in their journey at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê. It's really rewarding.

What's a surprising or interesting fact about yourself?

I used to interview A-list Bollywood actors for a music magazine! My claim to fame is having a coffee with Amitabh Bachman.Â
