  1. International Conflict and Cooperation (POLS0001)

Description

The course introduces students to the major theoretical traditions in International Relations, Realism, Liberalism, Marxism, Constructivism, and Feminism and uses these different theories to address historical and current events in world politics. The course aims to link theory and the 'real world,' by providing the students with different lenses for understanding and explaining questions related to wars, nuclear weapons, terrorism, globalisation, and free trade.

Note on Registration: this is the same module as POLS0001. ESPS/ISPS students should register on ESPS0004. All non-ESPS students should apply for POLS0001 through the Department of Political Science.
