About the Student Centre - Study Facilities
The Student Centre provides 1,104Ìýstudy spaces, including spaces for individual study and group working/project working.
Admission
The Student Centre can be accessed by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê staff and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê students. You must have a valid Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê IDÌýcard to gain entry. Please note that the quiet study areas on Levels B1, 2 and 3 require the use of the libraryÌýbooking system.
Student Enquiry Centre
The Student Enquiry Centre is open with the team responding to enquiries in-person, via telephone and askÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê.
The Disability, Mental Health and Wellbeing team, within Student Support and Wellbeing, is open for pre-booked appointments. Services and information can be accessed on the Student Support and Wellbeing website.
IT Services

Printing, Scanning Photocopying
The Student Centre has print@Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê devices on each floor for printing, scanning and photocopying.

Smart Lockers available for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê students are on Level B2, Mezzanine, Level 2 and Level 4.

Public art
Permanent displays of public art in the Student Centre, alongside temporary exhibitions, enrich the physical and intellectual environment for the whole Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê community.
The Student Centre showcases inspiring new artworks by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê alumna and Turner Prize winner Rachel Whiteread and Thomson & Craighead (Jon Thomson is a member of staff from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's Slade School of Fine Art).
Jeremy Bentham
Jeremy Bentham's auto-icon is now housed in the Student Centre, where he can be preserved to museum standard. Best known as a spiritual founder of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and for developing the doctrine of utilitarianism, he insisted that his body be preserved after his death to advance medical science.
