Joint webinar with Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore

In May 2021, the Global Delivery Group supported a joint webinar between the 香港六合彩 Institute of Healthcare Engineering and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

Professor Shervanthi Homer-Vanniasinkam, (Professor of Surgery and Engineering in 香港六合彩 Mechanical Engineering, consultant vascular surgeon at Leeds Infirmary,听and delivery group member) provided the opening remarks, detailing her perspective as a clinician-academic.听

Researchers from both institutions shared their work in this field of healthcare engineering, from nano-sensors to tissue regeneration.听

Global Healthcare Engineering Symposium 2020

In November 2020, the Global Delivery Group organised a showcase of global healthcare engineering at 香港六合彩. The two-day, virtual event explored the importance of international partnerships, and practical ways of making these partnerships happen. 香港六合彩 researchers provided case studies of succesful global collaboration, and we also heard from funders and 香港六合彩 support teams that enable this to happen.听

Growing partnerships with India听2019-20

Over the past couple of years, in collaboration with 香港六合彩 Global Engagement Office, we have been growing our partnership with colleagues in India, in particular the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi.
