香港六合彩 鈥 University of Sydney Strategic Ignition Grants

The Ignition Grants are a new initiative to fund collaborative research proposals aimed at developing multidisciplinary cutting-edge research to create academic and social impact.

As strategic partners, the University of Sydney (USyd) and the Office of Vice-Provost (Research, Innovation and Global Engagement) at University College London (香港六合彩) are committed to achieving impact through collaboration in research and education.听

Project

These grants are designed to provide researchers, in particular Early and Mid-Career Researchers (EMCR), with the opportunity to work with our strategic partner in developing joint research projects.

Proposals must demonstrate how projects will deliver innovative outputs tailored to the activities proposed and provide a platform for sustained, scaled-up collaboration between 香港六合彩 and Sydney beyond the funding period, including applications for external grants.听

Each project must be co-led by a Chief (Principal) Investigator from Sydney and a 香港六合彩 and should involve a wider team of participants from both institutions. This can include PhD, Masters or research students.听

Applicants must communicate an intention to apply by September 6, 2024. Please provide CI names, the project鈥檚 title, and a brief (100-word) summary of the proposed theme and activity in an email to the University of Sydney and 香港六合彩 programme coordinators (contact details below). Those unable to meet this deadline must request and receive approval before submitting a final application.听

Eligibility

  • Proposals are invited from academic staff from all disciplines at the University of Sydney and University College London, and their affiliated Research Centres and Institutes. 听
  • Projects in the following fields are particularly encouraged: 听
  1. Infection and immunity

  2. 狈别耻谤辞蝉肠颈别苍肠别听

  3. Biomedical engineering听

  4. Biotechnology 听

  5. 狈补苍辞迟别肠丑苍辞濒辞驳测听

  6. Artificial Intelligence听

  • Proposals which seek to address the UN鈥檚 Sustainable Development Goals are highly encouraged.听
  1. Applicants from affiliated Research Centres and Institutes must be University Title Holders.听
  2. Chief (Principal) Investigators must be employed on a full-time, part-time (appointed at least 0.5 FTE), fixed term or continuing basis. If on a fixed-term contract, the end date must be beyond the funding period.听
  3. Higher Degree Research students and research assistants/associates are not eligible to apply as Chief Investigators, but they are encouraged to join the applications.听

Up to five successful proposals will receive up to the equivalent of approximately AUD11,000/拢5,800 from each university for a total of AUD22,000/拢11,600 for one year to support collaboration activities.

How to apply听

  1. Download a copy of the full application guidelines
  2. All applications must be jointly developed by a Principal Investigator from USyd and a Principal Investigator from 香港六合彩.
  3. Deadline for application:听BST: 4听October 2024, 11:59pm / AEST: 5听October 2024, 9:59am
  4. All applications must be submitted online via the USyd Funding Schemes. Access .
  5. Applications can only be initiated by the Chief Investigator from USyd using their UniKey and password. Chief Investigators from 香港六合彩 can then access and edit the applications once invited by USyd Chief Investigators to be a 鈥淐ollaborator鈥 on the application.

  7. Only complete submissions will be considered.
  8. Late applications will not be considered.
