Professor Dongping Fang, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering at Tsinghua University (THU), China, visited the UNESCO Chair on 12th September 2024. The meeting focused on fostering collaboration between the School of Civil Engineering at THU, the UNESCO Chair, and the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê. Key agreements were reached on areas including visiting professorships, the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), and joint applications for research fundings. Both parties also exchanged views on curriculum development in Civil Engineering and the mechanisms of engineering education at their respective institutions.
