EPICentre staff teach on a number of undergraduate and graduate courses across 香港六合彩.

EPICentre offers its own MSc in Earthquake Engineering with Disaster Management (MSc EEDM). EPICentre staff are also largely involved in the delivery of the MSc Civil Engineering with Seismic Design, one of the pathways in the MSc in Civil Engineering (MSc CE). In addition EPICentre design and run continuing professional development courses (CPD) on a number of advanced topics.

The Earthquake Engineering with Disaster Management (EEDM) MSc combines specialist structural and earthquake engineering knowledge with an advanced understanding of resilience and risk modelling for natural hazards in order to produce engineers who can deliver design holistic solutions and are able to work in engineering, catastrophe modelling and disaster management roles.

Students have the opportunity to engage and work alongside academics, plus听a wide range of industrial partners and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) on cutting-edge research through modules, seminars and the dissertation. In addition, students will benefit from a week-long field trip to a recent major earthquake site听to observe the extent of the destruction and the latest structural strengthening techniques. Students are welcome to join Deaprtment of Civil, Environmental & geomatic Engineering to engage in research and gain the award of an MPhil degree (minimum of two years), PhD degree (normally a minimum of three years) or EngD (typically four years in total).听Research can be undertaken within the broad range of our current research activities or, in the case of the Engineering Doctorate听(EngD), in an area associated with industry.

The aim of the MRes in Urban Sustainability and Resilience is to equip students from a variety of backgrounds with the research skills, knowledge and understanding required to tackle current and future challenges faced by cities globally, including increasing the resilience of our urban systems, and the infrastructure that supports them, to shocks arising from natural, economic and technological disasters.
