Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê

In line with motions passed at the 27 October EGM and in support of the global day of action in solidarity with Gaza, we encourage staff to join a student-led demonstration at 2pm on Friday 17th November in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê’s main quad.

The march has been organised by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Students for Justice in Palestine and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Climate Action Society, asking:

1. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê to call for an immediate ceasefire.
2. For an end to the censorship and criminalisation of pro-Palestinian activism on campus.
3. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê to cut all ties with arms companies.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê UCU is not calling for strike action (as we have not balloted our members) but we are calling for solidarity with this action, including attending the demonstration where possible.
