Research Department of Targeted Intervention
About us
Head:
Location: Bloomsbury
We are creating unique image-guided diagnosis and therapy centres which combine clinical translational expertise in tissue and energy with medical bioengineering expertise within the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Department of Engineering. This will enable us to develop novel, minimally invasive surgeries and other medical interventions.
Our work
Each of our research areas has an interest in minimally invasive approaches, innovative technologies, and biomarkers of risk, for use in diagnosis and therapy. From bench to bedside, we are involved in the very earliest proof of concept studies within the laboratory, right through to large clinical trials on the hospital ward.
