Working Title of Thesis: Open Innovation and Innovation Systems- An empirical comparative study, exploring the determinants that shape Open Innovation.
Research: My proposed research aims to explore the relation between open innovation activities of firms and the innovation context, in which these activities take place. By conducting an empirical comparative analysis, this study aims to identify the determinants that shape open innovation activities. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods will be applied, in different levels of innovation systems for exploring how the economic, structural and institutional differences impact open innovation.
