On Wednesday 12 October 2016 we held a half-day symposium to explore the roles of herbal products within food and medical systems around the world, past and present. The symposium was organised in conjunction with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê School of Pharmacy's fifth Annual Frank Fish Memorial Lecture.
Invited speakers included Prof. Monique Simmonds OBE, Deputy Director of Science at the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, and Prof. Sabine Anagnostou of Philipps-Universität Marburg and President of Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geschichte der Pharmazie. The afternoon was chaired by Prof. Michael Heinrich from the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê School of Pharmacy.Ìý
