Overview
This three-day聽course is designed for clinicians who have a reasonable knowledge of vestibular assessment and rehabilitation and are looking to build on this foundation.
Delegates will be provided with a pre-course reading list and presentations,聽which should maximise their learning opportunities during the course. Course materials are included in the registration fee.
As with all of the Advanced Audiology Masterclasses, this course also forms part of our MSc in Advanced Audiology.
The course is run by the 香港六合彩 Ear Institute.

Course content
Day 1 - Introductory day
The first day聽is designed for clinicians who are new to the field or would like a refresher. It will include:
- Overview of vestibular rehabilitation and outcome measures聽Workshops on clnical tests of balance (鈥渂edside tests鈥)
- Workshops on BPPV
- Symptoms and findings in the dizzy patient 鈥 neurologist鈥檚 viewpoint
- Evening workshops covering a range of objective assessments of balance function (including VEMPs, head impulse tests, visual vertical, dynamic visual acuity and more)
Days 2 and 3
Over these two days you'll have lectures on:
- Advanced BPPV
- Advanced vestibular rehabilitation
- Medical management 鈥 cases
- Physiotherapeutic management
- Motion sickness
- Optokinetic desensitisation
- Developing your Vestibular rehabilitation skills
Teaching and structure
The course will run over 3 consecutive days and will be taught through a聽mixture of lectures, practical demonstrations and workshops.
Certificates and accreditation
You'll receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
Costs
The standard course fee聽is 拢690.
For direct payments (by card)
Places can be booked by credit/debit card up to 48 hours before the start of the course, subject to availability.
For payments by invoice
To secure a place, a purchase order document must be received within 7 working days of the course start date.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order for a course after it is accepted by us and outside of any period in which you might have a right to cancel, then the following applies.
Your cancellation must be received in writing no later than 14 days before the start of the Course. If we receive your cancellation no later than 14 days before the start of the Course we will refund any amount you have paid to us for that Course less an administration charge of 20%. No refunds will be made for cancellations made by you within 14 days of the Course date.
