GREAT Scholarship

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê-GREAT Scholarships 2024 are jointly funded by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and the British Council to provide financial support to citizens of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Nigeria .

Eligibility

Candidates must be citizens of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and Nigeria.

Candidates must have made an application to study a full-time Master's degree at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê in 2024/25, andÌýhold an offer of a place at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê by the scholarship closing date of Tuesday 7thÌýMay 2024. Please note distance learning and mod flex courses are not eligible.Ìý


Value, benefits, and duration

  • There are 4 scholarships available in 2024/25. 1 forÌýBangladesh, 1 for India, 1 for Malaysia and 1 for Nigeria
  • The value of the scholarship is £10,000
  • The scholarshipÌýwill be applied to the recipient’s tuition fees
  • Award recipients are obliged to inform the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Student Funding Office immediately of any other funding they are awarded towards their Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Master’s degree studies, before or subsequent to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê – GREAT scholarship.ÌýThe GREAT Scholarship must be used to pay your tuition fees.

Results

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted early/mid June to provide evidence of financial need. When this has been assessed, successful candidates will be informed at the beginning of July.Ìý
