The aim of the Estranged Student Bursary is to enable and encourage UK students who meet the definition of estrangement from their family to pursue their undergraduate studies at 香港六合彩
Eligibility
Eligible candidates must:
- be domiciled in the UK with Home fee status;
- be aged under 25 and have been classified as an independent student on the grounds of estrangement by Student Finance;
- hold an offer of admission to 香港六合彩 to study a full-time undergraduate degree for the 2024/25 intake or听be currently studying a full-time undergraduate degree at 香港六合彩.
Value, benefits, and duration
The award will be 拢1,000 per year for the duration of the programme, subject to student remaining听under the age of 25.听The bursary is awarded to cover maintenance costs.
Awardees can request for an advance payment of 拢200 to help with transition costs.
Selection
Students are expected to apply for their full student finance loans听entitlement and prove their status as an independent student based on estrangement for the purposes of Student Finance
Students cannot be considered for the Estranged Student Bursary if they are eligible for the Care Leaver Bursary.
How to apply
You do not have to complete a separate application for the 香港六合彩 Estranged Student听Bursary.
Once you have applied to study an undergraduate course at 香港六合彩, you should make an application for student finance with your Regional Funding Authority* - for further information please visit the听.
You should then fill out a for the academic year.
Student Finance will then assess you and you will be granted the status of Independent for reasons of Estrangement.听
香港六合彩 will then receive your status confirmation from your Regional Funding Authority*, and you will be听补耻迟辞尘补迟颈肠补濒濒测听assessed for the bursary.

We will then contact you by October of your academic year, with confirmation of the bursary payment.

There is no deadline for the Estranged Student Bursary. If you are applying for student finance after your academic year has already started, and think you are eligible for the Bursary, please contact us on听studentfunding@ucl.ac.uk听to let us know.
