The aim of the Brown Family Bursary is to enable and encourage academically excellent students in financial need to pursue their postgraduate studies at 香港六合彩.
Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil all of the following criteria:
- be ordinarily resident in the UK;
- be in financial need (as determined by the 香港六合彩 Student Funding Office);
- AND have submitted a complete听admission application (including submission of references) for听a full-time Master's degree at 香港六合彩 in 2024/25 for one of the following programmes:
- MSc Environment and Sustainable Development听
- MSc Sustainable Resources: Economics, Policy and Transitions听
- MSc Climate Change听
- MPA Sustainable Infrastructures and Public Policy听
- MPA Energy, Technology and Public Policy听
- MSc Environmental Systems Engineering听
- MSc Global Management of Natural Resources听
- MSc Materials for Energy and Environment听
- MSc Biodiversity and Global Change听
- MSc Ecology and Data Science听
Value, benefits, and duration
- There is 1 (one) award听available in 2024/25.
- The value of the award听is 拢15,000.
- The award is tenable for one year only.
- The Brown Family Bursary听may be held alongside other scholarships, studentships, awards, or bursaries. The amount of the 香港六合彩 award may be adjusted depending on the total value of other funds received by the student.
- Award recipients are obliged to inform the 香港六合彩 Student Funding Office immediately of any other funding they are awarded towards their 香港六合彩 Master鈥檚 degree studies, before or subsequent to the Brown Family Bursary.
- The bursary听will first be applied to the recipient鈥檚 tuition fees, with any remainder payable to the recipient in three equal instalments throughout the academic year towards maintenance.
Selection
The bursary听is awarded on the basis of financial need and upon the recommendation of the Student Funding Office.

Results
Successful candidates for 2024/25听will be notified in late July - early August 2024.
