Our strategy explains how a coordinated approach to neuroscience activities will benefit the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Neuroscience community and further improve Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's international standing.
The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Neuroscience Domain has three key objectives:
- Facilitate world-class neuroscience research across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê
- Cultivate succeeding generations of international quality neuroscientists
- Promote communication and engagement in neuroscience, both internally and externally
This requires the facilitation of research activities across different parts of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and various research disciplines, the support of individual researchers, research Centres, Departments and Institutes, and encouraging synergistic endeavours of strategic importance. The aim is to ensure that Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Neuroscience remains at the cutting edge of research and attracts, develops and retains the very best neuroscientists.
Our strategy document, prepared by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Neuroscience Domain Steering Group, explains how a strategic, coordinated approach to neuroscience activities will benefit the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Neuroscience community and further improve Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's international standing. It describes our collective goals for the future, and how these fit into the broader Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê strategy.
