- £10,000 for a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê social science led cross-disciplinary (social science and non-social science) pilot/seed research project that will lay the basis for an external funding application (medium or large) with a strong social science componentÌý
Ìý - Only Principal Investigators who are Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê social scientists from the IOE or the Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences (our scheme funders) are eligible to apply.Ìý Co-Investigators / ECRs / Additional Collaborators may be based in any Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê faculty.ÌýÌý Further eligibility requirements are detailed in our call guidance whcih will be available when the next call opensÌý
Ìý - Principal Investigators and Co-investigators must be of post-doctoral standing or above and be employed by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê during the life of the project
Ìý - Applications must be genuinelyÌýinter/cross-disciplinary, innovative and research based
Ìý - Our scheme is competitive and we usually fund two projects
Ìý - To date the scheme has invested over £170K inÌý17ÌýprojectsÌýand supported over 50Ìýcollaborators across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and led to many follow-on projects, publications and networks.Ìý A number of projects have helped secure over £1 million in research funding
ÌýÌý - We have received generous funding from IOE and the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences to support this scheme
