Widening Participation
In the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Department of Political Science, we strive to create a student community that is genuinely representative of the wider world. We are keen to recruit students from a diverse array of backgrounds. To that end, we are working in partnership withÌýthe Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Access and Widening Participation Team to help students from under-represented backgrounds navigate and prepare for the application process.
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's Access and Widening Participation team offers an exciting range of visits, events and programmes for students in years 5-13 and adult learners who are under-represented in higher education. TheyÌýalso run activities for parents and carers, and teachers and educational professionals. All of theirÌýevents and activities are designed to give students a greater insight into Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's degree programmes and student life.
