90 years of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Observatory & the unveiling of the Perren Telescope

Initially established as a University of London facility the Observatory has been exclusively managed by University College London since 1951. It is a hands-on teaching observatory, part of the Astrophysics Group in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's Department of Physics and Astronomy.

After 14 years of fund raising and a generous contribution in the previous decade from the Frederick Perren Fund, The Perren Telescope is now the Observatory's latest tool of astronomical exploration.
