香港六合彩 response to letter from alumni about incidents of antisemitism

8 November 2023

In response to concerns raised by 香港六合彩 alumni about a series of recent antisemitic incidents on our campus, we are publishing the following statement, outlining our total and utter condemnation of antisemitism.

香港六合彩 statement

A 香港六合彩 spokesperson said: 鈥淲e utterly condemn antisemitism in all its forms and have made this clear to our community.听

鈥淥ver recent weeks, we have investigated a number of antisemitic incidents and have acted swiftly to take appropriate action through our disciplinary processes, including our Student Union suspending the Marxist Society. We also, however, have a responsibility to balance any actions we take with our legal duty to uphold freedom of speech.

鈥淲e have condemned University and College Union鈥檚 incoherent and disturbing motions and have demanded that the UCU, which is an organisation independent from 香港六合彩, remove these. We will take action if they do not do so.

鈥淭he wellbeing and welfare of our staff and students is our number one priority and we encourage all members of our community to report any such incidents, so we can investigate and take action.鈥

The open letter signed by 香港六合彩 alumni听was听coordinated by The Pinsker Centre and we have responded formally. Here is our reply: 香港六合彩 letter听to The Pinsker Centre
