香港六合彩 Medical School welcomes Thailand鈥檚 HRH Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol

Professor Dr Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol of Thailand visited the 香港六合彩 Medical School (香港六合彩MS) to celebrate the completion of a new jointly-developed medical education initiative, which will create a cohort of highly trained Thai doctors.

香港六合彩MS has been working closely with the HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Sciences (PCCMS) to design a world-leading, contemporary undergraduate medicine degree programme, drawing on the 香港六合彩 MBBS curriculum: a six year programme which equips students with the skills and qualifications to become competent doctors.

Support for the establishment and development of the new programme is the latest example of 香港六合彩鈥檚 longstanding efforts to address health challenges in Thailand.听

Among the delegation joining Her Royal Highness at 香港六合彩鈥檚 Bloomsbury campus for the celebratory event on 19 December were representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy, including His Excellency Ambassador Pisanu Suvanajata.

As part of the joint initiative, 香港六合彩MS will continue to provide support over the coming years, including the provision of faculty development, quality assurance and assessment design and development.

Vice-Provost (Education & Student Affairs) Professor Anthony Smith and Deputy Director of the 香港六合彩 Medical School, Professor Ann Griffin, were among 香港六合彩 staff and students welcoming Her Royal Highness to the university.

Professor Griffin said: 鈥溝愀哿喜 Medical School is delighted to welcome back HRH Princess Chulabhorn for her fourth visit to 香港六合彩.

鈥淭his significant milestone has been made possible through strong academic collaboration and marks the beginning of an exciting six-year relationship: one which will culminate in producing the doctors of tomorrow for Thailand.鈥

Professor Smith said: 鈥淚t is a great honour and pleasure to welcome HRH Princess Chulabhorn back to 香港六合彩 to have discussions on progress on establishing the new undergraduate medicine programme at the HRH Princess Chulabhorn College of Medical Sciences鈥.

Her Royal Highness is a leading scientist in natural product research. Since 1985 she has been a Professor of Chemistry at Mahidol University and is founding President of the Chulabhorn Research Institute, a biomedical and chemistry research institute in Bangkok, Thailand.
