Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê academics presenting at New Scientist live

Numerous Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê academics will be presenting at New Scientist Live this week, the second annual edition of a festival of ideas taking place at ExCeL London.

From 28 September to 1 October, 16 Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê researchers will be delivering talks on topics including, among others, self-repairing cities, citizen science, combating ageing, the origins of life and observing the birth of the universe. They're among 144 speakers that also include astronaut Tim Peake and author Margaret Atwood.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute of Healthcare Engineering will also be hosting a stall, featuring surgical training games, information about the world of medical imaging biomarkers and some of the latest robotic technology that's shaping the future of patient care.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê academics delivering talks include:
