Five researchers from across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê SLMSÌýhave been recognised for their contribution toÌýthe advancement of medical science by election to the Fellowship of the Academy ofÌýMedical Sciences.
The independent Academy of Medical Sciences promotes advances in medical science andÌýcampaigns to ensure these are translated into benefits for patients. Academy Fellows are elected for excellence in medical research, for innovativeÌýapplication of scientific knowledge or for their conspicuous service to healthcare.

The new Fellows will be formally admitted to the Academy at a ceremony onÌýWednesday 1 July 2015.
