Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Parents and Carers Together Network
10 April 2014
Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Equalities and Diversity is pleased to launch a new network for carers and parents across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, the PACT (Parents and Carers Together) Network.
This is a social network that meets on a monthly basis and
aims to support Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê staff members who are balancing new or ongoing caring
responsibilities with work. PACT seeks to raise awareness of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê policies that
support parents and carers and open up discussion about the issues facing
parents and carers working in universities.
The launch is on Wednesday, 7 May 2014 at 12:30 pm, at 16 Taviton Street (SSEES building) Room 431. Professor Clare Elwell, Ph.D. (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Medical Physics & Bioengineering) will formally launch the PACT Network and talk about her own parenting experience.
If you are interested in attending, would like to join Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê PACT virtually on Moodle - to share your experience or to exchange tips and ideas - or join the PACT mailing list contact equalities@ucl.ac.uk for further information.
