WebNet is a new network for those interested in the web at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê.

ÌýCome to the first meeting on Tuesday 26 June (10am-12pm) to find out about future plans for the web at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, user-centred design and searching.Ìý

There will be a chance to say what you think about the web at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê as well as to meet people interested in the web from across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê.

The provisional programme is:

10:00: Introducing Web and Mobile Services (WAMS)Ìý- a new approach to the web at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê
10:15: How search works
10:35: Putting the users firstÌý- designing user-centred websites
11:05: Coffee
11.15: Discussion groupsÌý- what are the top three things you would change about the web at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê?
11:30: Report back
11:45: Ask WAMSÌý- general question and answer session

Venue: Darwin B15 Biochemistry Lecture Theatre (entrance via Malet Place).
