Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê at Cheltenham Science Festival

A number of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê academics and students are taking part in the Cheltenham Science Festival, which starts today.

The Festival, which runs 12-17 June, is co-directed for the seventh consecutive year by Dr Mark Lythgoe, Director of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Centre for Advanced Biomedical Imaging (CABI).

For the third year running, a team of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê postgraduate students are blogging live from the festival on the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Events Blog. This year's student bloggers are:

CABI at Cheltenham

CABI PhD students will be manning a working MRI scanner for live imaging in the festival's Discovery Zone all week. The public will be encouraged to bring along organic objects to the imaging road show, which will then be scanned and prizes awarded for the best images. CABI will be blogging and tweeting live from the festival - you can follow them on the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Events Blog and on Twitter (#CABI_Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê).

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê scientists are taking part in a number of events and talks at the festival, on a wide range of topics including superconductors, climate change, evolution and aliens.
