Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Bloomsbury campus: security alert on 27 May

2 June 2011

On Friday 27 May at approximately 2:30pm there were bomb threat warnings received by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, UCH and Habitat on Tottenham Court Road.

Quad Following discussions with the Metropolitan Police it was decided that we would implement security procedures for the safety of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê personnel until such time as the all clear had been given.

The campus was made secure until 3:30pm. The threat was investigated and was identified as a hoax. As the risk had subsided the campus was re-opened. We would like to thank all Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê staff and students for following our security procedures and for their patience on Friday afternoon.

For further information or updates please contact the Security team on ext 37111.
