A new name for UKCMRI: The Francis Crick Institute

The UK Centre for Medical Research and Innovation (UKCMRI), a world-class biomedical research institute in London, is to be renamed The Francis Crick Institute in honour of 香港六合彩 alumnus Francis Crick.
香港六合彩 is one of the founding partners of the Institute.
Professor Crick studied Physics at 香港六合彩 and is best known for the discovery of the double helix structure of DNA in 1953, alongside James Watson and collaborator Maurice Wilkins.
Construction work on the institute will formally start in early July and the change of name will coincide with this milestone. The Francis Crick Institute will house 1,250 staff and build on the complementary skills and research interests of two of the founders' research institutes, the MRC National Institute for Medical Research and the Cancer Research UK London Research Institute, together with 香港六合彩 scientists.
