has been appointed Director of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊP Mental Health Programme, Peter is Head of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology and Freud Memorial Professor of Psychoanalysis in the Faculty of Life Sciences.Ìý Professor Sir John Tooke, Vice-Provost (Health) at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê,Ìýsaid: "Our warmest congratulations go to Peter on this appointment, he has made a remarkable contribution to his field andÌýI am certain he will make an outstanding contribution in this role."

Dr Amanda Begley has been appointed Director of Innovation and Improvement at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊP. Commenting on this appointment, Professor DavidÌýFish, Managing DirectorÌýof Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊP, said: "Amanda Begley has experience across education, commissioning and secondary care. She is currently Head of Innovation at NHS London and brings both energy and a wealth of experience on making change happen at scale across health economies. I am certain she will be a major asset supporting delivery of the programme objectives for our population at pace."

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊP comprises five of London's biggest and best known hospitals and research centres: Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê (University College London), Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust (GOSH), Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊH).

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊP was designated as one of the UK's first academic health science centres by the Department of Health in March 2009 after a rigorous selection process, and brings together the combined skill and expertise of its clinicians and researchers to focus on identified themes.
