  • Science found an unusual setting this year at Sci-Fi London, an annual event of fantasy films and literature, with astronomers and physicists taking part in panels on aliens and space colonisation. Dr Rachel Armstrong, Teaching Fellow at the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Bartlett School of Architecture, discusses how such public outreach - which she terms practical science fiction - is important in foregrounding the inherent creativity of scientific methods that inspire the public imagination.
