Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's Environment Institute is holding a seminar on 'Sustainability, Society and Culture in the Megalopolis' on Wednesday 20 May.
It is the fifth seminar in a series which focuses on specific aspects of sustainability and the megalopolis by bringing together expertise from across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê.
The speakers are Professor Matthew Gandy (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Geography), Dr Paolo Favero (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Anthropology) and Dr Claire Thomson (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Scandinavian Studies).
The seminar will be held in Room 301 of the
Pearson Building and will begin with an informal lunch at 1pm, followed
by presentations and discussion at 2pm.
