Modern foreign language summer courses - free for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê students graduating in 2009

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Language Centre is running intensive two-week language courses in July 2009 in: Arabic French German Italian Japanese Mandarin and Spanish.

These intensive language courses are designed to give participants the opportunity to develop their foreign language and culture skills in a professional context.

The courses are funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England's Economic Challenge Investment Fund (ECIF) and are therefore free for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê students graduating in 2009 (and other Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê students, subject to availability). There is a £50 fee for professional participants.

Each course involves 35 hours of tuition over ten days.

All courses will be held Monday 6 - Friday 17 July. Beginners' courses will run 9am - 1pm (with a 30-minute break) and intermediate-level courses will run 1-5pm (with a 30-minute break).
