Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Lunch Hour Lecture Spring Series 2009

The challenges and opportunities facing the 44th President of the United States, in foreign affairs and beyond, will be discussed by Professor Philippe Sands, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws, in his Lunch Hour Lecture, 'President Obama and America in the world: From inauguration to action',Ìýon Tuesday 27 January 2009 at University College London.

The spring series kicks off with a talk by Dr Robin Murphy, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Psychology, on whether rule learning makes us human, in his lecture on Tuesday 20 January 2009.

Other lectures that will run this spring include:

  • One-person households - a resource time bomb? - Dr Joanna Williams, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Bartlett School of Planning (Thursday 12 March 2009)

1. Admission is free without a ticket, no need to book. However, entry is on a first-come first-served basis.

2. Lectures are held in the Darwin Lecture Theatre, University College London, Gower Street (entrance via Malet Place), London WC1E 6BT. Lectures run from 1.15 pm to 1.55 pm.
