The Research Challenges Board has announced the winners of 2008 competition.

Professor Jo Wolff, Chair of the Board, said, "It was particularly tough job to make our decisions this year, as there were a high number of superbly imaginative proposals. But we are confident that we have backed projects that have tremendous potential to help Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê develop its research, for public benefit."

The competition will run again for 2009, but perhaps with a new twist, to make it as beneficial to the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Research Community as possible. Please contact Professor Wolff with any suggestions for changes to the scheme.
