The competition is organised by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Graduate School each year to encourage Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê postgraduate research students to communicate their research to others and prepare them for presenting their work at conferences.
There are four sections to the competition: Arts & Humanities, Laws, Social & Historical Sciences; Built Environment, Engineering and Mathematical & Physical Sciences; which will take place on 6 March, with Biomedical Sciences and Life Sciences on 7 March.
Each section will be awarded a first prize of £400 and three runner-up prizes of £100. The prizes will be awarded between 3.30 and 5pm in the Haldane Room, North Cloisters, on 7 March 2008.
