The London Debate

For the London Mayoral elections, the Urban Salon debate on London's future will be held at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê on 28 April 2008 at 6pm in the Pearson Lecture Theatre.
The debate will bring together some of London's leading experts on planning, sociology, urbanism, economics and politics. On the panel is Sir Peter Hall (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Bartlett School of Planning), Professor Ian Gordon (London School of Economics), Professor Michael Keith (Goldsmiths), and Dr Loretta Lees (Kings College London).
Debate organiser Professor Matthew Gandy said: "The panel will address key social and spatial trends facing London, the political dynamics and constituencies likely to shape the next Mayor's tern in office and potential research agendas linked to the next Mayoral term."
The Urban Salon is a London forum for architecture, cities and international urbanism, supported by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Urban Laboratory, Brunel University, Goldsmiths and the Open University.
