Professor Jacek Rostowski was sworn in today as the Minister of Finance of the new Polish government formed by new Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Professor Rostowski earned a BSc in International Relations in 1972 and took an MA at the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê School of Slavonic & East European Studies (SSEES) in 1973. He was a lecturer at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê SSEES from 1986-1996, when he left to take the Chair at the Economics Department at the Central European University, Budapest.

He last came to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê SSEES one year ago to present a paper at the Centre for Social & Economic Change in Central Europe. Ìý
