Nabeel Yasin: the poet of Baghdad

All Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê students are invited to attend a reading by Nabeel Yasin, often known as 'The Poet of Baghdad', at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê on Thursday 17 May.

Yasin, who has recently returned from Iraq, will read from his work and discuss his writing with panellists and the audience.

Registration will take place from 6-6.20pm in the foyer of the Roberts Building, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, Torrington Place (opposite Waterstone's bookshop). The reading and discussion will follow from 6.30-7.30 in room G06 of the Roberts Building.

A reception will be held in the foyer of the Roberts Building from 7.30-8.30, to which all are invited.

Any students who would like to attend are asked to email Vice-Provost Michael Worton to reserve a place.
