Stem-cell research symposium

A symposium on the legal and ethical implications of stem-cell research will be held at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê on 11 July 2007.

The symposium is designed to be of interest to all at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê whose work is concerned with stem-cell research, whether as scientists, clinicians, technologists, ethical and creative thinkers, lawyers or business leaders. Anyone with a desire to learn more about the subject or an opinion to express is welcome.
The event will be co-hosted by Professor Michael Freeman (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws) and the University of Sydney's Faculty of Law Associate Professor Belinda Bennett.
Professor Malcolm Grant, President and Provost of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, will open the proceedings, with Professor Michael Worton, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Vice-Provost (Academic & International) and Professor John Hearn, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sydney.
