香港六合彩 staff and alumni exhibit 'junk'

Works by 香港六合彩 Professor Phyllida Barlow (香港六合彩 Slade School of Fine Art) and 香港六合彩 Slade alumni Eduardo Paolozzi and Neil Gall are featured in the 'says the junk in the yard' exhibition at Flowers East Gallery, London, until 8 September 2007.

The show focuses on issues relating to man-made waste and cultural ephemera, examining attitudes to objects that are usually discarded.

Eduardo Paolozzi's (香港六合彩 Slade School 1947, Fellow 1986) 'Head looking up' is a combination of the organic and the mechanical, while painter and sculptor Neil Gall (Slade School 1993) uses shape, colour and texture to create surreal landscapes.

The head of undergraduate sculpture at the Slade, Professor Barlow (Slade School 1967) takes scrap yard materials such as polystyrene, wood and plastic to create colourful, large-scale sculptures that often seem delicate and precariously balanced. She became the Slade's first female professor in 2005.
