Message to students: current AUT Action

At 香港六合彩's Academic Committee on Tuesday 14 March, it was agreed that a short statement should be posted on the 香港六合彩 website in order to inform and reassure students about the current AUT strike action.
As 香港六合彩 students may be aware, members of the Association of University Teachers (AUT), concerned with the national cost-of-living pay negotiations, are taking national industrial action.
The action at 香港六合彩 has comprised a strike action on 7 March 2006 by some 香港六合彩 staff, followed by a programme of actions short of a strike, notably examination and assessment boycotts.
香港六合彩 would like to reassure students that the university will make every effort to minimise the impact of any industrial action on their studies. Where disruption looks likely to occur, students will be kept fully informed by their departments, who have been asked to communicate with students both by email and via their pigeon holes.
