Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê

Last week, one of our NICE group members assisted in the annual Widening Participation Summer School hosted by the Chemical Engineering department at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê. Lucy Todd was excited to showcase her research in a short presentation to the students that demonstrated the wide variety of research conducted in the department. She also greatly enjoyed assisting in the chemical car project, where students engineered a Lego car powered by a bicarb and vinegar reaction and competed to see which car would go the furthest. Although Lucy's car didn't win, it was a wonderful opportunity to engage with students and share the fun and excitement of engineering!
