Description

This module aims to give the student understanding of Systems Engineering and how the lifecycle is managed in a concurrent engineering context. The module introduces the concepts of Systems, Systems Thinking, Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering Management. It is our philosophy that successful projects are delivered through a combination of systems thinking, planning, management and sound engineering practices. This philosophy led us to develop the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Principles of Systems Engineering Management. These principles, which can be applied equally to technology, systems and complex projects, underpin all of our teaching and are covered extensively in this module.
