This module is an introduction to survey methods. The module aims to familiarise students with:

- questionnaire design and evaluation
- data collection modes
- non-response and dealing with missing data
- ethnical issues in survey research
- using data for secondary analysis.
Each session will be mirrored by a practical workshop seminar where students will put the learning introduced in the lectures to use through real-world practical examples.
