Description

This module provides further experience of filmmaking building on the work completed in Making the Media I during the first term. It is structured around the creation of a short film. Students will be introduced to the art and craft of short filmmaking, acquainting themselves with films that have premiered online, on television and at film festivals. They will work together in groups to create a short fiction film, from scripting through until post-production. At the end of term, they will have completed production of a short film, and deepened their knowledge of core creative and technical skills.
