The module will introduce students to a series of key political revolutions and assess their impact on domestic and international politics and society. Using theory and case studies it will situate revolutionary events in Central and Eastern Europe in a global context and invite students to explore connections and comparisons. It will combine macro and micro approaches to introduce students to previously marginalized actors and emphasize the agency in revolutions.
