This module provides an overview of research design and methods suitable for studying entrepreneurship and innovation. As part of this module, you will learn about: research paradigms and research design; methods for data collection and analysis; positionality, ethics, and subjectivity. The module is practical in nature and is focused on the development and application of a range of core quantitative and qualitative research skills as well as an examination of how other organizations/bodies have approached the issue of researching entrepreneurship, innovation, and prosperity. The module is taught through introductory online content and seminars linked to each of the topics of this module. Working in groups, and with a range of weekly active learning tasks, you will deploy the methods learnt to design, conduct, and present your own transformative entrepreneurship research project.Ìý
This module will equip you with the necessary methodological and research skills necessary to design and develop your MSc dissertation. Additional Skills and Personal Development sessions are also aligned to this module to allow you to develop a range of professional and academic skills related to becoming a leader in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation research.Ìý
