Description
Throughout the duration of the course, students will be working on a research project. This will allow students to develop the research skills and competence that are needed in the modern world of research. This includes the capacity to design and implement a research study, to select and apply appropriate analytic methods, to integrate and understand the project’s research in the context of other research and theory, and to coherently describe this orally and in written form in a manner which effectively communicates the findings as well as explores the strengths and limitations of the project whilst demonstrating what has been learnt by conducting the project.
The empirical study may be a stand-alone study or part of a larger research project. It can be qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods in design, or it may also be a systematic review.
