Description

This module is a continuation and extension of PHIL0142. This module has two aims: (1) to train you in reading difficult philosophical texts (2) to train you in the skills involved in philosophical discussion.

Indicative Topics
The specific topics covered in the module will vary with the choice of philosophical papers.

Teaching Delivery
Teaching will consist in a weekly two hour seminar. Discussion of the text will be organized around student presentations.

Assessment
This module will be assessed by examination in the third term.
